Hey Karebear,

As a future med-student, you need to learn how to research your own questions. There may not be any such thing as stupid quesetions, but my experience dictates that they are not well looked upon. I hope this isn't too harsh.

Search reveals 3 LCME accredited med-schools. The best thing to do is get it from them. Go to their websites, Ponce, Univesidad central carib, etc...

I study at RCM, the state university. There are 4 LCME accredited schools in Puerto Rico which include RCM, PSM,UCC and SJB. In RCM some lecturers give the lectures in English and some in spanish. It depends on the nationality of the lecturer. All of the powerpoints are in english, you're tested in english and the textbooks are also in english.

You do need some basic spanish skills, to talk to patients etc. But if you ask a spanish speaking proffesor in english I'm sure they'll reply to you in english...

Hope this helps a bit, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

He was not being harsh. OP should have the ability to look up a PR school and check the curriculum tab and see for him/her self if it is taught in English.

No one is going to hold your hand through medical school.
