I am trying to decide if I should pursue a masters degree while waiting to get accepted into dental school

Are you funding it on loans? If so, then not unless you absolutely need one

It really depends on whether you need to. If you have a low science GPA, you should definitely look into it. Otherwise, it's probably not a good investment.
