Hey, just wanted to share a good push-up program with you guys/girls. I was never great at them myself, but I also never did more than our fitness program required for weekly exercise (in the air force). I decided to blow this section of the fitness tests out of the water as an officer, so I started following this program.

You can follow it on the website completely free, I myself chose to pay for the ipod touch/iphone app, I think it was a dollar or two. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm up to week 4 and can do more push-ups consecutively than I've ever been able to in my life.

Anyway, hope this helps for anyone out there who might be struggling with their push-ups too.

I just started this program on week 3 to hopefully boost my pushups to achieve a perfect score on the PT test.

Gonna try this out as well.

Found a 200 sit up app made by the same people.

Now, if only I could get that 14 minute mile and half down with ease ;-)

Ahh you can do it man! Maybe you could try that couch to 5k program or something, I've heard it works wonders.

Another great find. Thanks a lot, I'll give it a shot. I got 5 weeks until the next PRT ;-)

I love couch to 5k! It's a great program. If you have an iPhone, you can get the GPS feature along with the app to track your avg pace.

Bump!

I took a long trip this summer and also didn't do anything for a month before and after the trip, so my push ups kind of went to ****.

Restarted the program, on week 2 right now. I'm always amazed at how much stronger I get each time I do it. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen this or is mediocre at doing push ups but is going into the military.
