Put on Hold

Premeds,

I was just informed that I was put on hold at UCSD? Does anyone have any idea as to what the probability that I will eventually get an interview there is? Is this basically a NO but they are trying to soften the blow or something, or do people actually get interviews after being on hold? Should I update them with new info about my candidacy, if applicable?

I searched the list and couldn't find anything on this topic, so any suggestions are appreciated.

A small number of people on SDN have been put on hold at UCSD and subsequently received an interview, including myself. I was put on hold and received an interview a week later. It's not a bad idea to update your file with new grades or anything that you might think is important.
