Ok so I went to a canadian university and we get 0.5 credits for every course we take, with or without lab. The customer service at AADSAS told me to put 3 credits for every 0.5 credits but I notice that admission requirements such as "8 semester hrs of general chem with lab", now I did do general chem with lab and it shows up as 0.5 credits on my transcript. Should I convert all my lab courses to 4 credits instead of 3 even though my transcript does not indicate if a course has a lab or not?

Thanks

This is yet another question you might want to double check with the ADEA about (AADSAS).

It seems to me they told you to do your own calculating, and from what I've heard dental schools seem to have a decent grasp on the way Canadian applicant's transcripts work and will be able to figure things out on their own for the most part (like credit hours not matching up exactly, or labs not showing up specifically).

Unfortunately this is just logical guesswork on my part, and some loose insight I've gleaned from other user's posts. Perhaps some of your fellow Canadians can share their experiences/knowledge? If you really wanted to, you could also search out some of these Canadian users on the forum (just search for threads dealing with Canadian/Canada issues), and shoot them PMs.
