Putting hours in EC in AMCAS?

Hey all,

I was wondering, should one put in the number of total hours spent on an EC? I already put down the date range and the approx. hours spent per week. But should I also put down the total hours spent on that EC just in case?

In case they want to get a quick idea of how much time commitment you made instead of doing the calculations themselves.

I'm sure adcoms know how to approximate the multiplication of two generally small numbers. 12 hours a week for 2 years is not high-level math.
