Hi,
I recently had a teeth checking/cleaning and the dentist said my teeth were fine (no xrays were taken). however, for the past week, i've noticed that there is a brief, slightly sharp (not throbbing or anything) pain on one, possibly multiple, upper right molars (i haven't been able to locate the particular tooth) sometimes when i bite down on food. if i continue to bite down, i stop feeling it. rinsing my mouth in cold water or biting on a sweet chocalate candy doesn't produce the same pain..so it might not be sensitivity. biting down on a piece of tissue folded into a tight rod also doesn't produce any pain. any idea what this is?
