2004 pilot exam #18 gives the answer: pentagon.
but I found from Wheeler's Book is: somewhat hexagonal.
Frist Aid says:trapezoidal.
So which one should be? :scared:

the occlusal outline of a mandibular first molar is similar to a :
a:circle b:square c:hexagon d: pentagon e:rhombod

Mandibular first molar has pentagon outline..

The peculiar name is "Home plate outline"

kaplan DA section, has a table where i got confused.....the occusal profile and shape thing and text goes about saying something different......compared to wats listed in the table.

please somebody suggest wats reliable when it comes to occlusal outline/shape of Max-mand teeth(i thought both were supposedly meaning the same !)
