Hi, I did a search but couldnt find it so am sorry if this is repeated. My question is about the CAF section of usmle. Where it shows to put the date and whether or not you failed or passed, if you already took the exam again and passed. In your opinion should one put the dates and the times they took it and passed only, or also include the time they failed? What I have heard, (dont know if true) is that if you just put that you passed it, but not the attempt, that maybe in theory one would be able to receive more interviews since certain programs filter out CAF's based on more than 1 attempt on a step, (but wouldnt nec reveal this information when asked, or on their website)
Obviously the program will see this based on the usmle transcript, but the theory is that at if one were to receive an interview by then, I could explain that point when it comes up in interview. Just wanted an opinion.
Thanks for your time.
