Did any current students apply relatively early (app complete in mid-October) to PCOM and not hear back with an interview invite til after Xmas?

I was finished in Oct and haven't heard back yet. All they tell me is that my file is complete and that I can possibly hear from them anytime through April.

Any thoughts?

When I applied I finished about mid-Oct and I received an interview invite in mid-Dec for mid January! I hope that helps.🙂

Just FYI.

When I applied 'back in the day' my application was complete DAY 1...sometime late summer/early fall...whenever it was open online.

My secondary didnt get back to them until October or so.

I wasnt offered an interview until Mid December.

My interview group had 10 people in it and 9 of us were at PCOM the next year.

My best friend in school didnt get accepted at PCOM until the first day of Orientation (he ended up withdrawing from LECOM as soon as he found out).

PCOM interviews into the Spring. And despite what you may have heard, they still accept people in those interview groups. The class isnt full yet.

General rule of thumb:

Interview before Halloween: Amazing
Interview before Thanksgiving: Excellent
Interview before New Years: Very good
Interview before Valentines: Good
Interview after Valentines: Better be a good interviewer

For some reason, I got a big kick out of this.

Thanks guys. I am freaking out bc I've been complete since the third week of October but now I see that it's not atypical for invites to be extended much later than early December. I was hoping that this was the case bc I am really hopeful about an interview invite to PCOM.😍

If anyone else had an experience to contribute, this post also serves as an excellent bump

hey drm,

i finished my applications real early as well and sent out my secondary as soon as i got it. I didn't get an interview until REAL late, February, that is, and i got placed on the wait list.

i was called the WEDNESDAY before orientation started...

so just keep your chin up and hope for the best!
