Using Anking + B&B Only to Study for In-House Exams?

Hello everyone. I am an OMS-I and am contemplating on solely focusing on B&B videos that pertain to my lectures and unsuspending pertaining Anking cards and doing those to study for my class exams. I have seen this work for students on Reddit but I am afraid I will miss out on important details from my in-house lectures and consequently fail an exam. My in-house lectures seem to have a lot of extra minutiae that is not board relevant, but the main idea and big picture details from B&B tend to be there. I go to a P/F school and just want to pass my exams while prepping for boards. Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated.

If I can save time with B&B videos and anking while also getting board prep in, I'd rather do that. In-house lectures will take up more time which I am not opposed to, I would rather just save the time and focus on the "important" board content.

Are your lecture materials overlapping with Board review materials? I worry about the idiosyncrasy of your individual lectures.

I guess the bigger question is who's writing the exams? If they're retired nbme Shelf exams, I think that you very well might be able to make do with Board review materials.

They're non NBME, professor made exams.

You're gambling that your professors will be sticking close to the ANKI cards and B&B videos.

I do lectures and BNB/AnKing and have always comfortably passed. Personally I feel like it's dumb to not take the free networking and friendship building that comes with attending lectures. You're paying a ton of money to be there, may as well show up.
