QBank Percentages

Do I really need to beat myself up about maintaining a high percentage on my QBanks? I thought the primary purpose of doing questions is to familiarize yourself with how questions are asked, trying to identify patterns among questions and learning from the explanations.

I thought the NBME form scores are a more realistic estimate of where you stand. Or, may be I'm just trying to find a way to justify my mediocre QBank percentages.

I have not taken an NBME yet. Plan to take one next month and my Step 1 in July.

Any input/ words of wisdom will be highly appreciated.

Primary purpose is to use it as a learning tool. People like to compare scores to see where they stand, but that is best done via NBMEs. My two cents.
