Hey Guys, I Posted A Thread Which No One Responded To, So I Figured Id Post Another One :d Again, Any Advice For All The Math Dummies Out There (like Me)? Im Finding The Qr Section Quite Difficult, And Wondered What I Can Do To Better Improve My Arithmetic (fractions, Algebra, Stats, Percentage)?? If Anyone Can Help Me, Id Appreciate It. Thanks! 🙂

what i did that helped me save time was to answer the questions i felt i could work right off the bat without having to think a lot about what it was asking. if it was a word problem i would automatically mark "c" mark it then skip it. at the end of the section i would have several minutes to go back and look at all the questions i skipped. if it was too hard or if i knew it would take a while i would just skip it and if i had a chance, i would solve it. That way you dont miss the easy questions at the end of the section

thats exactly what i did... the second i saw a word problem i marked it and moved on. probably 20 min into the section i had already looked at every question at least once and then started over and went back to the time consuming ones. i highly recomend this technique. good luck... (btw i always clicked on B when i wasnt sure of something, not C--up to u though haha)

Maybe people didn't respond b/c they find it annoying that your capitalized every first letter of your words =P.

Kidding aside, I think the best way to practice for QR section is to do a bunch of practice problems. Keep doing the same problems until you understand how to do it and not just memorize the answer. You can pick up a Kaplan GRE Math book to practice. As for strategies, I used the same method as the two posters above. The key is PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Good luck :luck:
