At a party of orthodontists, 1,000 of them are from west coast. 100 of orthodontists are women. 60 of the women are not from the west coast. How many male orthodontists are from the west coast?

Answer: 960. No idea on this one. How is this setup?

1000 ortho's are from west coast 60 out of 100 women are not from the west coast so there are 40 women out of 1000 orthos one the west coast

1000-40=960
