Hey all!

I've been taking practice math tests using Crack DAT Math and I'm consistently getting 17's...

I have a little over a month before my test and I'd really like to get this 17 up to a 20, or at least a 19.

Any suggestions to supplement the CDM? Everyone says Math Destroyer but they also say that Math Destroyer doesn't really reflect the real DAT.

I've watched Chad's QR videos and they were a nice refresher.

How does CDM compare to the real thing? Easier or harder? Any suggestions?

Thanks guys!

I don't think I've seen anyone recommend using Crack DAT software except for the PAT section. In other words, don't use CDM. I would highly recommend using Math Destroyer. It is harder than the real DAT, but if you can master it, then the real thing will feel like a breeze.

Thanks for the quick response! I'm really shying away from the Math Destroyer because I just don't have the money to spend an extra hundred dollars on a section that I really only need to improve slightly on... I've heard such mixed reviews about all of the QR study materials that I just don't know what to do.. Some say Math Destroyer is too hard, others say too easy.. Some say CDM is too hard, while others claim to be getting 29's on the practice tests. I just need some confidence in the direction that I'm moving with this studying.

I liked math destroyer also. I have heard of the QR section on the DAT destroyer being too easy but the Math destroyer is pretty good from what I remember. Maybe you can find a cheaper older edition in the classifieds.

I would say that crack dat is good for not only PAT but also reading. The math on crack dat seems out of scope and insanely more difficult than the actual test from what I have heard from friends etc. For math practice use college notes and Math Destroyer. Also you can use khan academy for some help on topics you need some brushing up on

Use math destroyer. You might get destroyed the first few tests but it prepares you well for the real thing.
good luck

Use Math Destroyer. I haven't taken a math class in 13 years. I used Math Destroyer, Khan Academy videos and Chad's videos to score a 22 on QR.

Math Destroyer was designed to show you how to solve difficult problems. It will get you ready for whatever you may see on the DAT. It is hard to predict, you might get easy math, or you might get tough problems. If you did CraxkDAt then math Destroyer, then maybe Kaplan if you have time. You should be fine.

I think it is better to be overprepared than underprepared. Use the materials that have difficult problems. It may take long to get through, but the real test will seem easier.
