Hello,

Sorry for the duplicate post. Anyhow, am I correct in thinking that it needs to be 5300 characters WITH spaces? Also, should I write it in Microsoft notepad and then cut and paste? Is that the prevailing wisdom?

yes, and yes, although for some reason the MS notepad character count and the AMCAS character count are a little off from each other but it should be close enough to work fine.
