Quality of Bio 1001 Questions

hi guys,

I've been hearing a lot of mixed opinions on this book. Some say its really good and other say there are A LOT of typos/wrong information in it. I really want a book that will give me solid bio practice (as many questions as i can get). I'm doing the EK BIO content book so I figured the 1001 Qs for Bio would suit. If anyone has any first hand experience and could advise me id really appreciate it

If you know of any other practice bio that would be useful (besides TPR) much would be appreciated.

Berkeley Review Bio passages are really good.

Do you think they are good because you used them and thought they were good practice - ie. camparable to the AAMC questions, or because Sn2ed swears by them?
I am asking because I am using BR for bio passages and am doing brutal even though I feel confident in the bio review. My marks have been 2/7, 2/6 and I am freaking out. I have only started doing passages for about 2 weeks now. So maybe I just need to keep practicing. Any suggestions?

Should i focus on during a content review for BR instead of EK bio then? I thought EK bio content was pretty good. I havent seen the BR though...

BR Bio is the closest you are going to get to the MCAT (Besides the AAMC practice test).

This is not just my opinion or SN2ed. Look at the MCAT Clubs after they took the real deal. Most people that had used the BR books say it helped them.

EK Bio is good but if you are short on time, spend it in the BR books.
