I've heard med school want approximately 15 semester units per semester. however, since my school is on quarters, i'm wondering how that translates. I'm averaging about 13 or 14 units per quarter, and that's the university average, but i'm fearing it might be low. Can anyone help?

I ve never heard of med schools wanting any certain number of units. As long as u take a full load I don't think it matters.

I disagree. I took 9 quarter units one quarter and have gotten a couple of interviews already. Your biggest problem will be finishing in 4 years. If you don't care about that, then just take the 13-14 units/quarter. I took tough loads, but now I'm graduating a quarter early! YAY!!!!

By the way, a 4 unit class on the quarter scale is exactly 2.7 semester units according to the AMCAS translation. Good Luck!
