51) MANDIBULAR FIRST MOLAR

The triangular ridges of MB n ML CUSPS of the mand 1st molar join to form a transverse ridge which separates mesial fossa from the rest of occlusal table

in maxillary molars central fossa is sep from distal fossa by oblique ridge.

mand 2nd molar transverse ridge is not quite prominent.

71) 1st premolar

the narrowest zone of att gingiva are located at the mand and max 1st premolars.
widest zone - mand n max incisor regions

96) max 1st pm n max molar

max 1st pm have a prominent mesial concavity . max molar may have a slight concavity which is made harder to reach by the broad contact area of occlusal to the concavity

87) protrusive and lateral protrusive

combination of both forward and lateral movt of the mandible

yes . maxillary first molar has distal concavity.

which of the following perm teeth have mesial concavities that require special attention when removing calculus deposits.
max ci
max ist pm
max 1st molar
man 2 nd pm

ans. both max 1st molar n premolar acc to key

in the explanation key . i saw this point . max molar may slight have a mesial concavity.
in the options only max premolars choice is not there

yes i agree with that too, according to the q .choices the above 2 ans are rite, YES there are many q relating the distal concavity of 1st molar in the q papers too.
i would like to add to to answers to 51. the oblique separates the central pit and distal pit, thats the key ans to some q's in the papers.
ANother common confusion about q71. the attached gingiva is thinnest in facial region of max and mand 1st premolars WHEREAS thinnest alveolar bone in the oral cavity is found in the facial aspect of mandibular incisors, commonly asked q.
