Question about an internship

I've been offered a position to be on the athletic training team at my university as an intern for the 2013-14 school year. I would be working with athletes, rehabilitating them from injuries and working with a specific sports team. The internship is about 15 hours a week, and would include traveling with a team. How would this internship look on a med-school app? I am going to be a second-year come Fall.

it seems pretty cool. I would say don't think about it in terms of medical school apps but rather is it something you want to do? I found that its easier to talk about events/clubs/projects I was passionate about in a medical school interview than things I just did to pad my resume. And my interviewers tended to ask me about those experiences since they stood out from the run of the mill volunteering, shadowing, etc etc.
