Unfortunately for myself, I already submitted my primary app and I have a bunch of questions now.

1) Most schools require 2 semesters of general chemistry with lab. I got AP-credit at my school for the introductory gen chem courses. But, I did go on to get a chemistry minor which included orgo + lab, a semester of inorganic chemistry, and then a quantitative analytical chemistry lecture and lab (4 credit course). I feel that with a finished minor in chemistry, I should satisfy the general chemistry requirement for most schools, but if I'm wrong, please tell me what I should do!

2) I got AP credit for 8 credits worth of physics at my school, but most schools require a lab portion which apparently doesn't carry over with AP credit which I think will be a huge problem for me. So, do I need to take a summer course ASAP to fill this hole?

3) If I am receiving secondaries from schools, does that imply that I have satisfied their pre-requisites?

4) If I enroll in an intensive physics lab that ends August 8th, where do I specify that I took it if my primary application has already been submitted???

Thanks... and sorry for all the questions!

1. Some schools won't accept AP credit. You'll have to look at each school's policy, and possibly call for clarification. I think you'll probably be ok since you have the chem minor.
2. Yes, I believe you will need a physics lab for most schools.
3. No.
4. You can't. Schools may ask for this information on a secondary, but otherwise you'll just be expected to fulfill the prereqs prior to matriculation at the school.

A rudimentary list of schools that don't accept AP credit:

http://www.colorado.edu/aac/noapib.htm

***Note that some of the schools in that list aren't correct (UTMB and UTHSCSA come to mind), but it's a starting point. If any of the schools that you applied to are on that list, I would check with them to make individually to see how they view your situation.
