Question about applying/timeline

hey guys - okay so i have a question..im new to the whole dental applying process......

I wanted to know what is the process in terms of when all the apps needs to be submitted online on adea etc...I am plannin on taking my DAT at the end of this summer..so august...

would that be too late? a few people have told me that I need to finish up and get everything submitted online this month

sorry for such a newbie question..like i said im new to this dental side of things
