Question about applying to radonc

Hey guys,

one of my good friends is really worried about matching into radonc. i think that he's going to be fine, but wanted to get your guys' opinion:

comes from a top 10 med school
tons of non rad-onc publications: 6 or so, a chapter in a book
step 1: 260+
Clinical: mostly passes and high passes, one honors in internal medicine,
Radonc rotation: High Pass

He is planning on applying to every program in the nation, what do you think his chances are? he's genuinely worried because of his third year grades.

any advice?

Tell your friend to take a deep breath - he'll be fine. Unless he attacks his faculty interviewers he will match well.
