Question about Berkeley - AP credit

Hi everyone, I was wondering if we could use our AP credit to satisfy the pre-reqs for berkeley optometry school. For example, for math, berkeley requires 2 semesters of math. But I've only taken 1 math class in college and took the calculus ap exam which counts for 1 math class on my transcript. does anyone know if i could use this ap credit for my math pre-req? thanks!

i actually had a similar question and emailed one of the advisors at Berkeley Optometry admissions office. the person replied that yes, the credit will count, it's just that it won't be factored into your calculated GPA.
