What exactly are these things? As a dental student on a 4-year HPSP scholarship, will I be required to do training during the school years? How do people do that?

ADT is a wonderful time where you get a larger stipend payment (100% of O1 pay v 75%). You just go to school like you normally do. That is all.
BOLC = Basic Officer Leadership Course = the entry level military training that all officers must do. It can be done before, during, or after dental school. What exactly are these things? can anyone talk about how OBLC is, and what to expect?
Not even close. I did both Army basic training as a private and then again as an officer and there is no comparison.Yeah, I heard from a marine that the OBLC is always harder than basic because you are now in a leadership position. He said direct commissioned officers and non-direct commissioned officers are together and you learn to assemble and clean weapons, go on FTX and do all the crawling in the dirt and going through all the stuff you normally do in basic training. Is this similar to the Army?
There are some benefits to completing it before school because many dental schools don't give you the time off to do it during.Does it make it a difference if you complete OBLC before, during, or after school?
