question about caapid

im really frustrated about this caapid stuff.today i called them to ask when they would send out the applications to schools,they said it would be in the middle of august.what would happen to those schools whose deadline is august 1st??like loma linda?when i asked him that,he says ''middle of august means middle of august''
adding to the innumerable problems that we already have😡...anybody has had a different experience?thanks

LLU is participating this year, they are on the list of schools on the CAAPID site. So you're saying they're actually not sending out the papers fast? That sucks, what's gonna happen with the deadlines?

I have a question too, after we submit the electronic application what do we have to send in? ECE and recommendation letters only?

yes u have to send only ece and recommendation letters,u have to print some forms from ur caapid application, like transcript matching form and letter evaluation form.if u cant find them call caapid and ask them , they willmail those to u .so send these forms along with ur ece and recommendation letters to caapid

I actually found the forms eventually but I still called to ask about other stuff, and I can't get through. They say nobody's available and they say e-mail them or leave a message. I emailed a few days ago and no reply. Stupid system!😡

Thank you for ur reply. can you also tell me how did u send letter of recommendation? as in did you send it alongwith the letter evaluation form or separately in an envelope?cz i ve sealed letter of recommendations.

i just called up caapid.they said they will not be sending any applications to any university till middle of august.deadline of LLU is not being considered...that is between them,i believe.

plus i did not send any matching forms,just sent a typed sheet myself with my caapid is along with letters and ece.thankfully,it has reached them🙂

Just called CAAPID .... twice ..... & the guy said that transcript matching form is not an important document. If u can attach it, fine ... else it won't hinder ur application. Same for evaluation matching form (for LOR)

About ECE, the guy said send whatever u have ..... photocopy or original .... both work !!!!

if anyone knows how to contact the moderators- ask them if we can get all CAAPID threads into ONE Sticky thread at top of forum- its new and confusing and people at the other end of the telephone (amazingly) seem as clueless- they keep sending us back and forth the schools admissions office for more info!

Lets say, they review my CAAPID application and I am not called for any interview, can I avoid on the app. fees?
If not so, whats the point in sending the fees later on..

hi i don't know about tufts but about michigan i called them and they said they need all the other stuff plus the fee before the deadline and then after recieving the info from caapid in mid august they will start reviewing the applications. And you can ask about the status of your application somewhere at the end of august.
