Question about Certiphi release

So my Certiphi background check came back fine and I okayed the report for release. Do I need to do anything else to have the school that requested it see it? I noticed there's a place to release to a third party, but I am assuming that means someone other than the school that requested it (it asks you to indicate a name and email address)?

I called Certiphi and they indicated it should be released automatically. Called the school and they haven't received it yet (but it was very recent, so perhaps just not logged yet). They told me to check back in a week.

I gets released automatically after like 10 days, but we have the option of releasing it earlier right? I might call my schools in the next few days to double check as well.

I have a Certiphi question as well! Does anybody know if they send you an email if you're on an interview waitlist as well? I just received an email about being put on an interview waitlist and then right after, I got an email from Certiphi for a background check. The timing raises some questions...haha

Are you saying you're on a waitlist to receive an interview? OR you've been put on a waitlist AFTER an interview? IF the former, it seems odd that Certiphi would be contacted, if the latter, that could make sense. Any other possible schools you may have an acceptance coming from?

The certiphi email said something like "you are receiving this because you were waitlisted or accepted at a..."

Ohhhh... Yeah you most likely where either accepted or at least waitlisted at one of the other schools you are waiting to hear back from post-interview.

I'd say you are probably getting an acceptance. Most waitlist background checks dont occur until later. Let us know if you hear anything! 🙂
