Question about changing Current/Future Coursework

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You can just explain it at you interviews that you had some problems and you couldn't take the classes. You can send and update letter to all schools informing them that you won't be able to take the classes and explain the situation. I don't think it's a big deal.

My original plan for classes during senior year involved taking 4 classes per quarter and graduating with honors (req. a thesis).

Soon during the middle of senior year, I got in, and was like, "heck with this thesis" and dropped honors.

At about the end of senior year, I thought, "boy, I don't like classes anymore" and dropped all but two classes.

And you know what? My med school was totally fine with that. So in short, don't worry about it.

If you are going from full-time to part-time student status (by not taking enough courses), I strongly recommend informing the school of the decision. This is important because many schools ask about part-time status in their secondaries.
