Question about checking status of your application

hey all, quick question...when emailing to check on the status of your application to a program that has not accepted or rejected you yet, have you been emailing the program director or coordinator? Or is actually calling the admissions office a better option?

Good question. I tried contacting a few. I heard back from one program for an interview call...

I had sent a quick email to show that I was still interested, and that same day, I got a response through ERAS.
