It depends on how your course syllabi are constructed. Mine were useless except for the pages of tables for path and pharm. In short, you study and learn for your coursework but "review" for boards. Most of the stuff in syllabi (and notes) are geared toward learning while review books are for review. If you are doing major learning during board study, you might be in trouble. Dump the syllabi(notes) unless there are high yield things in there for review.
I gave my sibs in the next class down my notes and syllabi at the end of each year except for the tables from path and pharm.
