Question about class notes/syllabi

I'm doing a little spring cleaning at the end of my first year and was wondering what to do with my class notes and syllabi from first year. Is it worth it to save them for boards studying or am I better off sticking to review books?

While I know a couple of people who were so enamored with their class notes/outlines and used them as references for the boards, I'd say the overwhelming majority scrapped them and simply studied from board review resources like FA, high yield, etc. You want something more streamlined than going through an entire course again.

It depends on how your course syllabi are constructed. Mine were useless except for the pages of tables for path and pharm. In short, you study and learn for your coursework but "review" for boards. Most of the stuff in syllabi (and notes) are geared toward learning while review books are for review. If you are doing major learning during board study, you might be in trouble. Dump the syllabi(notes) unless there are high yield things in there for review.

I gave my sibs in the next class down my notes and syllabi at the end of each year except for the tables from path and pharm.
