my understanding is that most, if not all of dental school students share classes with med students for the first 2 years.

so for class ranking are you sized up against everyone who's in that class (med+dent)? or are you only compared to your dental school class mates?

and how does rankings work exactly when you get to 3/4 years? is someone able to provide a link of a typical class curriculum (grade attribution breakdown...etc) for their classes in 3/4 year?

thank in advance

there are only a few schools that share classes with the med students, not sure where you heard that.

And of course, you are only ranked against dental students. It wouldn't make sense to do it any other way.

+1.
While the frist two years of dental school are very medicine/didactic based, most do not share classes with med school students

o ok. good to know

any info further info about 3/4 year someone can chime in with?

If you're a good schmoozer, go to a pass/fail school. It's going to be schmoozapalooza now that the boards are going pass/fail, it's going to be awesome.
