Question about inputing coursework on the AMCAS application (not answered in the user manual)

I took a 1 credit directed study for 3 semesters in a row and received a grade for each semester. This is how research is credited at my institution. I'm not sure how to enter it into the application system because it isn't really a repeated course and it's not exactly a deferred grade since I got a grade after each semester.

Anybody have experience with something like this?

This should go in the AMCAS questions thread.
But fortunately, it is in the user manual:

Do not select Repeat for courses designed to be repeated (e.g., Independent Study, Thesis, Chorus, etc).
