Hello everyone,

So I am trying to prepare everything early for application for dental school. I was wondering if anyone can help me with the problem I am having. So I am starting to ask for LOR from my professors, however, two of them told me to write whatever and they will just sign it. Not only that I cannot write something about myself but also its hard to come up with two. My school cancelled their committee so I can't have that either. What should I do?
Also, I know there is a part on the application that asks for shadowing hours. I actually work at a dental office part-time for 2+ years. What should I fill in that box? or that doesn't count?

Also before I got my job at the dental office, I was working in retail since I graduated high school. I was working as manager 45+ hours a week so I didn't have time to do activities at school such as pre-dental club or so because I had to work. Will that affect my application?
Thanks for all your help in advance.. 🙂

Do you have any friends that could write the letter for you--preferably English majors 😀. If you could get a couple of friends to write the letters, they would have a different voice. You could edit as needed and then submit to the profs for their final printing/signature.

As for your EC's, working 40+ hours/week would suffice. They just want to see that students aren't sitting in their rooms studying all day.

Thanks so much for your reply. 🙂 appreciate it
