Question about LOR

Do the LOR writes have to sign the LOR? Just curious because it has the option to request that they sign.

HPEC at my university requires the LOR writers to hand sign their signature on the bottom.
It's a bit of a hassle for them because they have to print it and sign it and scan it (if emailed).
If not, i don't think it's that big of an issue. Just make them sign it to be safe.
