Question about MCAT processing by AMCAS

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
So I just realized that if I don't get in this year (possible, no interviews yet) I might have to reapply.

and if I have to reapply, i have to rewrite my MCAT because its expiring.

and if i have to increase my chances of getting in, i need to apply early.

and in order to apply early i have to write the january mcat cuz in april i'll have my masters finals.

so.

if i write my january mcat

will schools from this cycle see my score?

the reason i'm worried about this is cuz i wouldn't want the score to go down (from my original 34Q) and for them to see this while im sitting on waitlists and then reject me for not being consistent.

i got that first 34Q after 3 months of studying
this time around ill only have 1 month to study (winter break)
and i haven't taken gchem, ochem, physics, in years!

A lot of schools (most of them, I think) specifically mention that they do not consider MCAT scores after a certain date-range (usually January and beyond), so you may want to check the ones you're applying to.

you can take MCAT in May. Submit your primary in June when it first comes out. When your MCAT score comes you will be complete and will be getting secondaries right away and will still be VERY early. There is no need to take it january.
