If i have the 3 pi system, //\. assume that the two // are a double bond and the . is a radical.

Empty----------------LUMO

Only 1 up arrow--------HOMO
_ pi-2
up/down arrows

In this case i was just curious if the HOMO and LUMO are in the right spots. Since the HOMO is not completly filled, would it still be the homo? It has to be right? Homo is just the highest orbital where electrons are found, it doesnt necessarily have to be full, correct?
