question about Nova Ortho program??

Hi everybody,
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about nova ortho program in florida(case load, faculty)?I heard they are going from 24 months to 27 months.It seems like a nice program in a nice location(next to south beach).

If I recall, all your labwork is sent out. Your first year, Monday all-day is spent in didactics, then clinic is from Tue - Fri. Seemed like a pretty relaxed program. The residents were very nice. Not enough interaction with the faculty at the interview to really make any judgment. Good luck!

I'm just a D2 but interact with the ortho faculty, the chairman is pretty cool and has given us some interesting lectures and I've got to know Dr. Sotsky, who is big on admissions here at Nova, pretty well from our ortho class. He is a cool guy. I've been to the Miami Beach clinic and it is nice but a good 20-30 minute drive from the main campus in Davie-Fort Lauderdale, coming back around 4:30 or 5 on 595 is the part that kinda sucks, 🙁. Gotta admit, you can't beat the location here but it is very expensive to live!
