My understanding is after dschool we'll get paid at the O-3 level as we enter active duty. I see that there are different pay amounts of O-3 on the pay chart dependent on years of service.
2012 Pay Chart for O-3
Under 2 - $3771
Over 2 - $4275
Over 3 - $4615
Over 4 - $5031
Over 6 - $5272
Do those years of service include the years we were in school, meaning we'll get paid as though we have 4 years of service ($5031) during our first year in active duty? Or will we get paid at the lowest level of O-3 ($3771) as though we have no years of service?
