So I would like to apply early decision for a program, for which the requirement states, "Early decision candidates must take the GRE® and request scores no later than July 31..."

I know it says it takes 10-15 days for schools to receive requested scores, but how long do you have to wait after taking the GRE to request scores (computer-based)? Can you just request scores directly after you take it?

TIA!

Hello!
When you take the GRE you have the option to report your scores to the schools right after you take the exam. It will take 10-15 days for you and the school to receive your score.
If you don't send your score the day of the exam, you can still do it later. Wait to receive your scores (10-15 days) and then log in on your GRE account, select the schools (make sure it's the right GRE code) and send the scores. The schools will receive the scores after about 5 days.

Thanks! And I'm pretty sure the answer to this is no, but just want to check...do the schools you apply to see your score every time you take the GRE? I'm coming from taking the MCAT where schools see your score from every time you have attempted, so just wanted to double check on that.

We do see the results for every time you take the GREs.
