Hey guys,
I have taken all the general requirements that MOST medical schools have, except for one semester of physics. Is it ok to apply without this one semester? Or will they not look at my app? Thanks.

#1 No school requires that all of your requirements be completed when you apply.
#2 If a school has class requirements, the expectation is that you will have taken all of the classes before you matriculate (sometimes as late as the Summer prior to starting)
#3 Many schools are going away from requirements and going toward competency
#4 IF a school has a class requirement, in virtually every case, they are non-negotiable. I have seen students have acceptances rescinded because they did not get their requirements done. This is why it is called a REQUIREMENT.
#5 If you want to apply to schools that require two semesters of Physics, take two semesters of Physics. Do not bother applying to schools that you have no intention of fulfilling what THEY determine to be their requirements.

Hey, to your last point. I am a junior now and am planning on taking the second set of physics this summer. I just wouldn't have it done before sending in my application. So, it's less about not wanting to do it and just having to do it slightly later. Is this ok?

Did you read point #1?

I did. Point number 5 seemed to imply that if I apply I should already have taken 2 semesters of physics. I.e if they require it, and you want to apply, take it.

It says to take it, not "take it before applying." The point was that you shouldn't expect to be able to matriculate at a school that requires it without taking it.

Ok. Thanks so much for the help. I really appreciate it. Sorry for the confusion.
