question about scheduling interview

Got an IV invite from Lincoln medical in NY. The email said "We will email you additional information regarding available dates and the interview format by the end of next week." Now I have no problems waiting, but I am wondering if other people are calling them up and scheduling now while I wait for the dates to fill up. This is my first invite so I have no idea how it goes and as such would prefer a later date as I have yet to give my ck exam so I want the score back before the interview. Should I patiently wait and forget about dates not being available or should I call someone ( the coordinator?) just to make sure.

I know they implied wait, but I have been reading threads on here about people waiting patiently only to be waitlisted and then ending up regretting it.
