what does the two digit score mean? it's not a percentile, right? i just got my score from my school but it doesn't seem right that my two digit score could be the percentile...does anyone know about this?

It's not a percentile, it's just a different form of the 3-digit score, scaled to be 2 digits.

it is NOT a percentile as any score over 244 is a 99, and that obviously doesnt put all of the kids above it at 99th percentile

it's another way to look at the three digit score...a 75 = 182 = passing

some residencies look at the 2 digit, others use the 3...i dont know how else u can look at it besides another way to see your same score

Hi there,
The two-digit score is NOT a percentile. It is a score that is obtained by normalizing the three digit score to a 100 scale. They set some three digit score, (189 or so depending on the year) as 75 (passing) and normalize the rest above and below that score.

Your two-digit score is going to depend on where they set the 75.
