Hi.
I just have some few questions.

1) I just chose some three pharmacy school when I register for the PCAT, and now I checked that all three schools are using PharmCAS so it looks like they send my scores to just one place. Then can I send my transcript to the other schools additionally? How can I do that?

2) I did not make the list which college I am looking for.
I am gonna retake PCAT but they are asking me which schools do I want to send.
If I do not know which schools I am gonna send, can I just skip and determine later?

3) If students send PCAT transcripts several times to the school, do they just pick up the best one?
If it is not good, how can I cancel my score to send?

Thank you

1) 2) If all the school you apply to use PharmCas, just send your transcripts and PCAT scores directly to PharmCas. Otherwise, if the school don't use PharmCas, then you would have to send things to them instead of through PharmCas.

3) I think they generally look at your most recent score.

When you take PCAT, at the end of the test, they will ask you if you want your score to be sent to school you selected. You can select yes if you think you did well, no if not. Unfortunately, you won't know your scores until the TA at the testing site give you a print out of preliminary scores for all sections except writing. They do right after the test, but after you exit the testing room. So it's kinda hard to decide if you want to send your score.

Schools will look at all your scores but put emphasis on your highest score.
But if you get a 60 on your first test, and a 62 on your second test, it doesn't look good because you only showed minimal improvement even after 2 months of supposed studying.

And of course, a drop would be even worse. But if you significantly increase from your first terrible score, they probably wouldn't care too much.

Personally, I would always score my test. Not knowing would kill me.

Thanks.
Then do I have to add PharmCas code additionally? It looks like they will just automatically send my PCAT scores to the PharmCAS.
Also can I add more schools after I took the test?

There's a code specific to PharmCas (104 I think). You'll still be able to send score later on. But since most schools use Pharmcas for their admission process, I don't imagine you have to send it directly later.

If you know one of the school you want to go are not part of PharmCAS, I will add it because you will have to pay an additional fee if you add it later. If you don't know, I guess a nominal fee wouldn't kill you.
