Hello,
From what I've heard, it is important to get a letter from your PI as well as some type of science professor. I actually met my PI through taking her class (Cell Bio, 4.0'd it) and then joined her lab afterwards and I've been working with her for a little over a year now. I know she'll write me a letter as she's already mentioned that she's willing but I had a couple questions:
-Should I ask her if she could only write about the research portion and then ask another prof for a science letter?
-Have her write about her experience with me in class and the lab and that covers those 2 letters that I "need"?
-Or even if she writes about both experiences will I still need a separate science letter?
Thank you!
