Question about the delayed release of step 1 scores for those who take it after 5/4/2019?

I have heard a rumor that every single year there is a delay in the release of scores around the may/June months. I have also heard that they usually release the scores during their normal scheduled release dates without any delay. Can someone confirm if the second rumor is true?
