So, I plan on applying to medical school next year... have everything out of the way and could apply today if I really wanted to (I originally intended to apply this cycle, but decided against it), however, I plan on studying abroad next Fall, when I imagine many interviews are. If I am out of the country (in London hopefully😀) from mid-Sept to mid-December, does that put me at a severe disadvantage or will medical schools understand and help me out, or am I wrong all together and are most interviews in the spring?

Thanks!

Most schools have rolling admissions, so a later interview means less spots will be available. There is definitely an advantage to applying/interviewing earlier
