question about umdnj stratford

I got accepted to the MBS program at stratford and I had a question about taking medical courses at the stratford school.

FWIW, I did visit the old UMDNJ threads but most of the posts were about the mbs program at Neward and the MGM program.

I am under the assumption that Stratford does not have the MGM option.

For anybody who did the mbs program at stratford, is it difficult to take medical courses at the som? What is the criteria for taking medical courses? Similar to MGM at newark?

Indeed, MGM is a course specific to New Jersey Medical School.

SDN is great for asking questions like these...but if you aren't able to get a response here from someone in the Stratford program, why not email the head of admissions of the stratford program? Not only would you find out from the horse's mouth, but you may be demonstrating interest at an early stage to someone who will have a hand in choosing who gets to take the course, if such a course exists.

Yup. It's a pretty good deal. Every mbs student can take up to two med school courses; no strings attached. Just be aware that the med school classes start Aug 12 (I think). MBS courses start 9/1.

If you're going to take med school classes you need to go to the July 27th orientation!

Accepted to Stratford!

Is there a linkage associated with the school? Do they have stats for students accepted into med school? I have done zero research and just applied not expecting to get in.

Time to do research!
