So according to the ADEA guide to dental schools, UT requires Histiology as a prereq. I know you can still apply if you haven't taken all the required prereqs but are planning to before dental school; however, my school does not offer histiology. So does this mean I should not bother applying to UT?

We could throw you whatever answer we feel like, but I think the best thing would be for you to call the admission's office. Give them a call and ask your question; report back with what you find out. It could be useful to the numerous other kids on the boards here who are getting anxious with another cycle opening up.

They give you the option of taking histology, microbiology, or comparative anatomy but it has to be 4 hours of one of those. Amazing what you can learn if you visit their website.

Thanks for the help, I'll ignore your attitude

I am in the exact same boat with UT. When I saw that I called them because I am not taking Biochem until this fall. They just want you to have the class by the time you graduate. Therefore, you're good.
