So when writing secondaries, I was wondering if it's okay to use abbreviations right off the bat for certain things that I've seen used on the school's website ....
i.e AOC (area of concentration), PBL/TBL (Problem-based/team-based learning), SIM Center (Simulation Center).
Again, these were all used by the school on their website, but I'm not sure it's safe to assume the person reading my secondaries will know what I'm referring to. I know we should always try to use the full thing before the abbreviation, but if we're very, very tight on character/word count, what do you think?
