For NYU, I have read that if you are on waitlist, you have to write a letter to inform them that you wish to remain on waitlist. Does anybody know if the following schools have the same policy as well?
I'm waitlisted at Einstein... you don't have to write a letter there. I think you probably have to write a letter to get in from the waitlist though showing interest/commitment to Einstein.
I think most schools work like the previous poster decribed Einstein - you may not have to send a letter to remain on the waitlist, but you probably won't get in unless you tell them how much you'd love to lick their toes.
